We specialise in the promotion of members via online and social media channels.  We operate in England and overseas.  We are NOT a recruitment company and offer no financial advice.

Types of Data We Collect

In order to provide the best possible opportunities to our members, we need to process certain information. We only ask for details that will genuinely help us to help members collaborate, find new opportunities, such as name, contact details, company details, products and services, employment details.

If you are a Manufacturing Connections client, we need to collect and use information about you, or individuals at your organisation, in the course of providing you with our services. This can include promotion of your products and services to our members.

Manufacturing Connections Limited will also store information relating to previous dealings with us, including email and telephone communications and recent introductions via the platform.We collect a limited amount of data from the users of our website which we use to help us to improve your experience when using our website and to help us manage the services we provide. Acceptable Behaviour in Online Chat Groups

In our online chat groups, respectful and constructive communication is paramount to maintaining a supportive and engaging community. Participants are expected to interact with others in a manner that is respectful, inclusive, and conducive to a positive discussion environment. This includes refraining from any form of harassment, abuse, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, age, or disability. Additionally, spamming, phishing, and the dissemination of harmful or illegal content are strictly prohibited. MCL reserves the right to take immediate action against any individual who violates these principles, which may include the removal of offensive content, temporary or permanent suspension of participation privileges, and, if necessary, escalation to relevant authorities. Our commitment is to provide a safe and welcoming space for all members to share, learn, and connect, and we appreciate your cooperation in upholding these standards.

User Accounts

To access some features of the Site, you may have to register for an MCL user account. When creating your account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account, and you must keep your account password secure. Furthermore, MCL reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove, suspend, or edit a listing in the Explorer directory that is found to be in violation of our terms of use, including but not limited to, the use of inappropriate content, false representation, or any form of misuse that could harm other users or the integrity of the directory itself. By accessing and using the MCL Explorer directory, users acknowledge and agree to these terms, accepting that reliance on any information within the directory is at their own risk.

ServiceMatch Use, Content Responsibility, and User Conduct Disclaimer

ServiceMatch, offered by MCL, facilitates connections between manufacturing businesses and service providers to encourage collaboration and project engagement. All content within ServiceMatch, including user profiles and project postings, is under the sole responsibility of the individual or entity that creates it. MCL does not endorse or affirm the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided on ServiceMatch, nor does it vouch for the qualifications, quality, or legality of the services or projects listed.

Users must undertake their own due diligence and exercise prudent judgment when interacting with others on the platform. Engagement with any service provider or project on ServiceMatch is at the user's own risk. Accordingly, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless MCL from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from their interactions on ServiceMatch, including but not limited to transactions or communications with other users.

MCL expressly reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, delete, or modify any content posted on ServiceMatch that is found to violate our terms of use, exhibit bad behavior, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate, fraudulent, or harmful to other users or the integrity of the platform. This action may be taken without prior notice to ensure the safety, security, and quality of the ServiceMatch environment.

By utilizing ServiceMatch, users acknowledge and accept these conditions, recognizing that MCL’s primary role is to provide a platform for connection and not to mediate or arbitrate disputes between users or guarantee the success of any project or service engagement initiated through ServiceMatch.

Trademarks

MCL’s trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not MCL’s, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits MCL. All other trademarks not owned by MCL that appear on this site are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by MCL.

Compliance with Laws

The user agrees to comply with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, and regulations regarding your use of our service and your purchase of products or services through our site. MCL may, in its sole discretion, report actual or perceived violations of law to law enforcement or appropriate authorities. If MCL becomes aware, through a complaint or otherwise, of any potential or suspected violation of these Terms or our privacy policy ("Privacy Policy"), MCL may (but is not obligated to) conduct an investigation to determine the nature and extent of the suspected violation and the appropriate enforcement action, during which investigation MCL may suspend services to any customer being investigated and/or remove any material from MCL’s servers. You agree to cooperate fully with any such investigation. You acknowledge that violations of the Terms or the Privacy Policy could be subject to criminal or civil penalties.

The use of the website and services is at your own risk. The website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. MCL expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. MCL makes no warranty that the services will meet your requirements; the services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; the results that may be obtained from the use of the services will be accurate or reliable; the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the services will meet your expectations; or that any errors in the software will be corrected. Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the services is done at your own discretion and risk, and you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of any such material.

No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from MCL or through or from the services shall create any warranty not expressly stated in the terms.

Limitation of LiabilityYou expressly understand and agree that MCL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if MCL has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information, or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; or (v) any other matter relating to the service.

The failure of MCL to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of the Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the Terms remain in full force and effect.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold MCL, its officers, directors, shareholders, predecessors, successors in interest, employees, agents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against MCL by any third party due to or arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site.

Revised Terms of Payment and Cancellation of Membership

Membership subscriptions to MCL are governed by specific terms of payment and cancellation policies. For memberships and services billed via invoice, payment must be made within 14 working days from the date of the invoice. Failure to meet these payment terms may result in the suspension or termination of the membership and access to MCL services.

Members wishing to cancel their subscription are required to provide MCL with written notice of cancellation at least one month prior to the desired termination month. For example, if a member wishes to terminate their subscription at the end of June, MCL must receive the cancellation notice by the end of April at the latest. This policy ensures that members are fully aware of their obligations and helps manage the termination process smoothly.

Upon cancellation, members will not be entitled to a refund of any membership fees already paid, except as expressly provided in the terms of the subscription or as required by applicable law. MCL reserves the right to amend subscription fees and payment terms, providing advance notice to existing members to reflect changes in the services offered or in response to market conditions.
Members are encouraged to review their subscription details regularly and contact MCL directly with any inquiries or concerns regarding payment and cancellation terms.

Changes to Terms

MCL reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Terms under which www.manufacturingconnections.com is offered. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. MCL encourages you to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of our updates.
